摔角历程：
在Chief Jay Strongbow的出征道路上，没有人能感到安全。不管是他的对手、比赛的裁判或或者那些不走运碰上他的人，都会对他感到恐惧。他可能是其中一个最棒的本土选手，他也是摔角行业其中一个最具有影响力、最受欢迎的选手。
他在1947年开始了自己的生涯。在接下来的20年里，他称为了一个成功的摔角选手，他在美国南部多个区域获得了NWA冠军头衔。在60年代，他在WWE登陆，而在之后的20年里，他的努力使得自己成为了一个家喻户晓的人物。
虽然他在单人赛上展示了自己的天赋，但他在双打比赛上获得了更大的成功。在1972年，Strongbow赢得了自己生涯4次双打冠军中的第一次，当时他与Sonny King一起战胜了Baron Mikel Scicluna和King Curtis。尽管他们的头衔只保持了一个月，但Chief Jay向大家证明了自己懂得双打模块的运作——一切都是关乎：时机和合适的队友。

在80年代早期，Strongbow再次打起了双打比赛，这次他与自己的弟弟Jules Strongbow组成了双打组合，并在WWE获得了双打冠军头衔。1982年6月28日，他们击败了凶残的日本人Mr. Fuji和Mr. Saito，并获得了双打冠军头衔。不久后，他们把冠军头衔输给了Mr. Fuji和Mr. Saito，但他们又很快夺回了头衔。1983年，他们又把头衔输给了the Wild Samoans。
