个人简介：
在擂台上，"Bullet" Bob Armstrong是一个坚韧的工人阶级英雄，他从不会在战斗中退缩。在场外，他是4个男孩的父亲，他培养了4个延续他传奇的孩子。不管在场内还是场外，他都是一个值得尊敬的人。
1939年出生于亚特兰大玛丽埃塔郊区的Armstrong在很年轻的时候就开始了自己的生涯。在他的青年时期，他曾是美国驻韩国的海军陆战队中服役。结束兵役之后，他成为了一个消防员。但当时，他的梦想则一直是加入摔角行业，在60年代，他真的这样做了。他的成功并不是一朝一夕而来，而是经过了他的努力以及付出而得来的。经过10年的奋斗，他在南部得到了一群死忠于他的粉丝。
来自亚拉巴马以及佐治亚州的观众在Armstrong身上看到了自己身上的一些特质。他并不是身材最高大的选手，他也不会很浮夸的动作，但他有着坚韧不拔的意志。尽管一次意外差点使他毁容，但他那“never say die”（永不言死）的精神帮助他挺过了这些困难。他没有在场边发怒而什么都不做，而是戴上了面具并成为"The Bullet." 。之后，他的人才不降反升。
而粉丝之所以那么喜欢他的最终要的原因是：他是个地地道道的南方人。尽管当时有很多人为了得到更高的报酬而到北方淘金，但他没有被这些诱惑所吸引而到纽约和芝加哥等城市。他在SCW（Southeastern Championship Wrestling南方冠军摔角联盟）和GCW(Georgia Championship Wrestling佐治亚州冠军摔角联盟)这两个联盟取得了生涯中最高的成就。南方才是让他有家的感觉的地方，而南方，也是他觉得他能与粉丝很好地交流的地方。
这是一个充满风险的家庭。Armstrong和他深爱的妻子Gail抚养了4个儿子——Brad, Scott, Steve以及Brian。他们都长得很像父亲，在他们成人之后，也都投身到了摔角行业当中。Brian以"The Road Dogg" Jesse James的名字为人们所熟知，他是DX的医院，也是WWE “Attitude Era.”最受欢饮的巨星之一。 Brad和Steve都在WCW得到了很好的发展。Scott也曾是WCW的一名选手，而之后则成为了WWE的其中一位高层。Armstrong的四个孩子在作为选手时都受到了同事的尊重。Armstrong不仅抚养他的孩子，还训练他们的摔角技巧。多年以来，Armstrong曾和他们4个分别组成双打队伍，并多次赢得冠军头衔。
令人惊奇的是，Armstrong至今仍有是与儿子们一起出现在擂台上。尽管71岁的高龄使他的动作开始有点迟缓，但他还是可以给对手一脚并在必要的时候使出终结技Georgia Jaw Breaker。事实证明，这个南方人仍然如钉子般强悍，并准备好了加入WWE名人堂。
