RAW是WWE最老字号的赛事品牌，自1993年首播至今已有18年的历史，Raw is War是RAW最早的品牌含义，由于顶尖选手出色的发挥，RAW也成为了WWE的标志。由于美国的政治原因（主要是海湾战争等与世界政治有关的原因），Raw is War被迫更名为“Monday Night RAW”。
